Troy passionately pursued his career and education in practical construction and construction management through the Carpenters Union four-year program. He was immediately placed in internships beside senior project managers at an early age. This led to a faster progression through the training which advanced him into supervisory positions early in his career. Settling in Durango Colorado in 1991, he and his father Terry formed the Dyerbilt companies in 1994. The team earned several awards in design, business management and environmental crusades through various organizations and publications both locally and nationally. After a four-year term managing a competitor's company during the “Great Recession,” Troy departed and created Veritas Fine Homes Inc. in 2013. His drive was clear with Veritas: focus on a more intimate experience for the clients with exceptional service and quality in both the luxury custom homes and light commercial sectors. Troy’s passion in the industry is design, in fact, you’ll find him sketching at the forefront of every client meeting. And when Troy's not working, it’s time for the desert or the lake, or off-roading and entertaining with his wife and any number of his five children.
